Ashwick Grove Town Hall
Town Hall is located in the center of Ashwick Grove in the town square. Ashwick Grove Town Hall is where the Mayor’s office is, legal offices, court rooms, Ashwick Grove history books, and where town meetings occur. The town hall is one of the oldest buildings in Ashwick Grove. Just looking at the historically built building will give you a clue that the building has been around for well over a century.

Ashwick Grove Town Square
Known amongst the town as the most beautiful (and fun) spot in the city, Ashwick Grove’s town square has become the place to be. The small quaint shops gather in a square conjoined with Ashwick’s town hall. The buildings are all links together in the same warm brick as the town hall, perfectly lines with cobblestone sidewalks and brick streets. Everything about Ashwick Grove’s town square screams historic small town America. It is the perfect place to grab a slice of pizza, buy a used book, or take someone special to a fine meal.

Ashwick Park
Apart from the town square, Ashwick Park has to be the second most beautiful place in this small town. A well sized pond lined with stones sits in the center of the park where residents enjoy to watch or throw bread crumbs to the ducks and geese. Residents often come to the park to stole along the paved paths of the park. Ashwick parents tend to bring their children to one of the two playgrounds, which other residents enjoy the gazebo (where live music tends to be played), tennis courts, basketball courts, and in the summer a swimming pool. Ashwick Park is the perfect place to spend a lazy day with people you love. With plenty of green grass and trees casting shade on the grounds, there are many ideal spots to have a picnic, or just to sit and read a book.

Ashwick Grave Yard
Typically one doesn’t think of a cemetery as being beautiful, but the head stones in Ashwick Grove, again, reflect the rich history the town is dipped in. Tourists often like to stroll the grave yard looking at the tombs and reading the interesting circumstances in which the residents of Ashwick have passed. Some even say the grave yard is haunted. Many have reported seeming figures dressed in old fashioned clothes walking about the graves.

Velorum Private College
Located only a short walk away from Ashwick Grove’s town square, Velorum has drawn many students to settle in Ashwick whilst they are in school at Velorum. The private college is a decent size. No university by any stretch of the imagination, but not as small as a community college. Ashwick Grove locals have always been happy to welcome Velorum students into their midst.

The Book Nook
No small town is complete without a used book store and Ashwick Grove is proud to say they have quite a well stocked book store. Typically filled with shelves and shelves of hand me down books, The Book Nook does order new books upon request for those needing something that may not be in the store and not found at the Ashwick Grove library.

Cupie Movie Theatre
Named after the man who built it, Cupie Movie Theatre is located in the south corner of the town square. Much like the rest of the square, the building is made of sturdy materials and hasn’t needed any major repairs since the day it was built. Many enjoy the old time charm of the vintage theater. Unfortunately, the small theater only had four theatres inside, but they do their best to keep a good rotation of the new movies coming out to please the residents of the town and keep them local instead of driving out of town to see what’s new.

Alex’s Bar
Alex’s bar was opened a few years ago by a local man when the man who owned it previously retired and sold it. Needless to say, there was a big uproar amongst the town whilst the bar was undergoing renovations; but it was all worth the wait. Alex’s is a place people go after a long day for a big pitcher of a cold draft beer and friendly service. Every Thursday night Alex’s hosts a karaoke night which is very popular with the town. There is even a small dance floor toward the back of the bar where many enjoy good music and dancing, of course.

Super Utopia
Even though vampires are the only supernatural beings that have come out into the open, the owner of Super Utopia is certainly aware of all supernaturals in the world. Alan Byrne opened this bar on the outskirts of town around five years when he and his progeny moved back to town. He kept them both concealed very well until the president revealed himself a vampire. Now, Alan has made it very clear that this is a bar and club for supernaturals, but humans are always welcome. The ones who are brave enough to party with vampires, anyway.

Flora’s Diner
Though Flora is nearly ninety years old now, she is still fiercely proud of her little diner. The diner is the hang out spot for the teens of Ashwick Grove; and the best place to go if you’re drunk (or the following hang over). Though, don’t be surprised if Flora pokes a little fun at your inebriated state. Flora’s is the only shop in all of Ashwick Grove that stays open 24/7, even on Christmas.

Pizza By The Square
The town’s favorite pizza joint is located within the town square. Owned and passed down through the Breckingridge family for over sixty years now, it’s as much a part of Ashwick Grove as the families that built the town. The little shop proudly bakes every pie in their brick oven. They’ll sell you a whole square or just a slice and you can always bet it’s a fair price. They even deliver. Some would argue it is the best pizza in New England.

Tonya’s Grocery
Need something? Go to Tonya’s. She is constantly on top of her inventory; the minute something gets low, she’s already on top of ordering another crate full. Not only is she always perfectly stocked on everything, but she has the lowest prices of any grocery store within the tri-state area. With a town full of loyal customers, she can afford to. She fondly refers to her store as the Wal-Mart of grocery stores.

Pete’s Autoworks Inc.
Pete has long since passed away, but his business is still thriving. Passed down to the eldest son in the family when their father retires, Pete’s is just another example of Ashwick Grove’s small town charm. Pete’s is one of the true, genuine shops you can go to assured that you weren’t going to get screwed over by a crooked mechanic trying to gain more business and money.
